I have been cooking and baking since I was very young. It has always been a great stress reliever for me, while also showing me how food can build a sense of community. My favorite recipe to bake currently is my chocolate espresso cake with blackberry buttercream.
Reading has always been a pastime of mine, which has caused me to have a small library in my family home. Some of my favorite novels are The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid, and The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
Painting is my creative outlet when I become overwhelmed with work or stress. I have been greatly inspired by the works of Charles Schridde and Hilma af Klint. I've painted several styles but mostly focus on abstract and still life paintings.
Yoga is my newest hobby. Once I moved on campus and took my first class at the rec center, I was hooked. It is a way for me to exercise while also tuning into my emotions and thoughts.
I have always loved listening to music. I once tried to learn how to play the bass but that was short-lived, to say the least. So now I stick to listening to artists like SZA, Arlo Parks, KISS, and Mac Miller.
Traveling and learning about world cultures has always been interesting to me. In fact, it was the whole reason I chose my current career path. I am currently going to Scotland this December and hopefully going to the United Arab Emirates this coming fall.
Lindner Women in Business is a social networking organization that helps women and minorities within the business community create opportunities for advancement. I have learned so much through the annual empowerment day LWiB hosts and plan to pursue a position of leadership in the organization.
The Lytle Park Hotel is a boutique luxury hotel in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. I work as a Front Desk Expert and have met some of the most interesting and influential people across many different industries. Working at Lytle has been a great opportunity and helped me advance many of my skills.
iCats is a business-oriented club that focuses on bring more cultural understanding and worldly perspectives to professionals interested in participating in the growing global markets of today's world. Every other week we listen to speakers our age that come from across the globe and teach us about their cultures and experiences.
AMA stands for the American Marketing Association. I have been a member since my freshman year of college. I attend speakers and workshops that help me further my academic career and encourage third way thinking.
PaL is the Lindner College of Businesses' LGBTQ+ representative association. I am a proud member and frequently attend community events along with helping educate UC's population about pronouns, sexualities, and loving yourself as you are!
The National Retail Federation is a club focused on connecting business and fashion under one umbrella. It focuses on bringing experienced professionals to mentor and encourage young professionals while also giving back to the community through clothing/shoe donations.
